- Professionally qualified accountant with Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA, UK) certification, an MBA from Open University Malaysia (OUM), and passed the Certified Cost Professional (CCP) accreditation from AACE International. A Chartered Accountant (CA) and member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA).
- Brings over 30 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Cost Management across Manufacturing, Services, Heavy Engineering, and Oil & Gas industries. Formerly served as a Qualified Custodian for Cost Control in PETRONAS prior to retirement in 2025.
- Held a wide range of senior roles including Auditor, Head of Finance, Project Accountant, Lead Cost Controller, Commercial Director, Business Manager, and most recently Principal for Cost Control. Led the implementation of finance, accounting, and cost management systems across multiple assignments.
- A HRD Corp–certified and accredited trainer and former Lead Facilitator for Project Cost Management training in PETRONAS. Appointed ELITE@UM Fellow (2025–2027) at Universiti Malaya, delivering lectures to the Faculty of Business and Economics, and served as the PETRONAS focal person for CHESS+ collaboration with Universiti Malaya from 2021 to 2025.
- Currently serves as Treasurer of AACE International, Malaysia Chapter, contributing to the advancement of cost engineering and project control professionalism in Malaysia.
- Key achievements include leading multiple end‑to‑end system development and implementation initiatives, notably the successful rollout of PETRONAS’ Integrated Project Control System (MYICONS), fully integrated with SAP Finance, Primavera P6, and other project management platforms. Delivered significant project value through RM200 million in cost recovery for PTERONAS, RM150 million in positive cashflow for the Siakap project, and RM50 million in approved change orders for the Kanowit project.
