- He was the Vice President of PETRONAS’ Group Health, Safety, Security and Environment (GHSSE) from 2016 to 2021, and as influential in steering PETRONAS’ Net Zero Carbon Emission Framework and practices to be a pacesetter for the industry in Malaysia and Asia.
- Owns a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami, USA; completed the Senior Management Programme of INSEAD; and is a Qualified Risk Director from IERP.
- Has been in the FIDE FORUM Directors Register List since 2023.
- Held various senior positions in PETRONAS including as General Manager, Gas Processing Plant Complex-A of PETRONAS Gas Bhd. Kerteh (2008 – 2010), as General Manager of Engineering Services, PETRONAS Gas Bhd. (2011), Senior General Manager of Plant Division, Malaysia LNG Group of Companies (2015-2016), and as Vice President of LNG Assets, Upstream (2016).
- Served as Director of PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. including chairman and directors of other PETRONAS owned companies.
- Represented PETRONAS as Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director in Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad from 2015 until 2021.
